Having an observatory is something I longed to have for many years. After moving into a new house in 1997, I started construction of a roll off roof observatory, which I finished in 2002. Pictures and text of this unit can be seen at the link to the left "First Observatory". In 2003 I moved from that house and have once again settled down where I can build another observatory. I have finally started this project this summer in conjunction with some other projects in the backyard. Click on the link Observatory-II for more information. |
